Gosport’s new bus interchange is now open and welcoming visitors from around and beyond Gosport. The bright and modern space creates a welcoming arrival and departure point for visitors to the town centre, and those looking to hop on the ferry.

The shelter features new real time information screens, as well as more open, safer seating areas.

Meanwhile further up the High St, buses are also dropping off passengers at the junction with South Cross Street and North Cross Street, providing access to the heart of the town centre.

Landscaping works, including the planting of several new trees, are planned to commence during the upcoming winter planting season.

A new gateway to Gosport

The old bus station site will be demolished and turned into a new public space. This People’s Park will offer food and drink venues to better welcome people into the town centre.
